Enric Miralles’ facet as designer at the Design Hub
The exhibition ‘MIRALLES, Perpetuum Mobile’ has opened at the Design Museum and the Design Hub, promoted by the Enric Miralles Foundation with the support of the Barcelona City Council and the Government of Catalonia.

The exhibition consists of more than 20 pieces, including the tables ‘Ines-table’, ‘Dolmen’, ‘Troncs’ and ‘Tropical’, the ‘Lelukaappi’ shelf unit inspired in the work of the architect Alvar Aalto, several chairs that were used in projects like the Parliament of Scotland or the offices of the Círculo de Lectores in Madrid, and designs for lights that were never completed.
The exhibition forms part of the tribute to Enric Miralles, to display his multiple facets as a creator and as a commemoration of the 20th anniversary of his death. In this way, his presence in the Design Hub is the fourth of five exhibitions dedicated to the artist: on September 15th the exhibition “MIRALLES, in the School” will be inaugurated at the ETSAB. In addition, in the month of June various conferences will be organised by the Architects’ Association of Catalonia (COAC) with international guests who will share their experiences with Enric Miralles and talk about his career and influence.
