The tenth edition of the jumpthegap® Roca International Design Contest will end at the Barcelona Design Week City Festival. It will be with the announcement of the winners in a gala in a hybrid format from the Roca Barcelona Gallery, where the jury will deliver the € 17,000 to the winners and those selected who have been in second and third place in each of the four categories: wellness & health; [un]neutral design; water & energy; and crisis & emergency. There will also be a special prize for the Best of the Best among the winners in all categories.

This tenth edition, driven by the challenges experienced as individuals and society, marks a new stage in the international design competition organized by Roca in collaboration with the Barcelona centre de Disseny. jumpthegap® promotes the creativity and talent of students and professionals to reach creative, innovative, and radical solutions in the wider field of the bathroom, while helping to promote the challenges set out in the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.

This year the projects have been evaluated by a jury of renowned professionals, chaired by the Japanese architect and winner of the Pritzker Prize 2014 Shigeru Ban and which also has Somi Kim, Paul Priestman, Andrea Trimarchi, Simone Farresin, Deborah Seward, Mariana Amatullo, Isabel Roig and Marc Viardot.
