Open doors at the Design Museum

The Design Museum will open its doors from 15-18 May for Museums Night, Poblenou Open Day and International Museums Day. Visitors to the museum will be able to enjoy free access to the permanent collections: 'Extraordinary! Decorative arts collections (3rd-19th centuries)', 'Modernism, towards the culture of design’, “The clothed body. Silhouettes and fashion (1550-2015)', 'Do you design or work? The new visual communication. 1980-2003', and 'From the world to the museum. Product design, cultural heritage'.

On Museums Night and International Museums Day, the cultural facilities will open their doors to the public who, in addition to the exhibitions, will also be able to enjoy other educational-cultural activities especially organised for the occasion, such as special guided visits, music and workshops. For its part, Poblenou Open Day is a day dedicated to Poblenou Urban District’s creative community. Over 40 venues will take part in the open doors, ensuring a varied programme of live art, exhibitions, workshops and guided visits.
