What is the future of sport?

Sport moves multitude and it is one of the most competitive and demanding markets, but so is technology. What happens when these two sectors combine?

In the conversation of the Barcelona Design Week City Festival ‘The technology that designs the sport of the future’ we will reflect on the future of sport, the presence of technology in this field and its key role in society.

The speakers will be innovation leaders from Europe’s leading sports companies in sports such as surf, snowboard, cycling and football. We’ll learn about their success stories and discuss how they use Autodesk technology and software to meet criteria such as efficiency, sustainability, and customization.

Specifically, Wavegarden Architect - BIM Manager Luis Merino; the architect and founding partner of B720 -the studio in charge of the reform of the Camp Nou-, Ana Bassat; ADDIT·ION’s co-founder and design specialist for additive manufacturing, Saulo Armas, and Decathlon’s Advance Design Project Leader, Charles Cambianica will take part in this event.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday 21 September and can be followed in streaming, with prior registration. You can find more information at this link.
