A pioneer of Catalan feminism in the 20th century who was also a writer, musician, journalist, publicist and teacher. She defended women's right to vote and was a member of the group behind the Catalan Women’s Pacifist Committee and the feminist association Acció Femenina. She combined the practice of all disciplines with teaching and was particularly involved in access to women's education. She taught at La Llar, a school for female students founded in 1913, lectured at the Ateneu de Barcelona and directed the women's pavilion at the Barcelona International Exhibition in 1929. Her bibliography includes novels, essays, plays, literary criticism, children's and young people's fiction and plays. Nowadays, there is a street devoted to her memory in Sarrià.
