An activist for the rights of deaf-blind people who did a lot of awareness-raising work and was also a lecturer and writer. In her books Resultado final (Final Result) and ¡Mucha guerra por dar! (Still Much to Give!), she explained her struggle with neurofibromatosis type II, a degenerative hereditary disease she lived with from the age of 17. She held the position of sub-delegate for Catalonia at the Deaf-Blind Association of Spain, head office near Plaça Espanya, at C/ Sepúlveda, 1. She died prematurely in 2014, as a result of the disease she suffered from.
