The Office for Non-Discrimination begins the year with different changes.
There have been new additions of professionals to the team: as a social worker and an administration worker. Jurists, educators, psychologists, social workers, coordination and administration, with timely reinforcement of mediators, make up a multidisciplinary team focused on providing public service in their field of care.
The remodeling of the office has been another remarkable fact between the end of last year and the beginning of the year. A change in the distribution and furniture focused on enhancing the service and optimizing the quality of it with 4 different spaces.
The OND headquarters, on Calle Ferran 32, also houses the legal guidance service (SOJ), within the agreement established between the Barcelona City Council and the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB).
The Office for Non-Discrimination (OND) continues its mission to remain a local human rights guarantee mechanism aimed at addressing human rights violations and the fight against discrimination. The OND is aimed at all citizens, with special attention to discrimination suffered by origin, cultural or religious belonging, sexual orientation and gender identity, among others.
