People who live in Barcelona AREA regulated parking zones can now obtain residential parking tickets for 2026. Options available range from a one-day ticket to a year-long pass, expiring on the last working day of 2026.

Residents need to download the SMOU app and activate the Residents Barcelona service. On-street parking meters can also be used to obtain residential parking tickets for 2026. If using the latter, remember that options are only available this way for one day and up to a maximum of twenty consecutive working days.

Resident price for 2026

The resident 2026 prices remain unchanged at 0.2 euros per day with a maximum of one euro a week for all vehicles, regardless of their DGT environmental badge, and with the right to residential parking, from January to December, including August.

Environmental pricing for regulated parking

Environmental pricing for regulated parking in Barcelona is intended to help cut pollution and improve air quality in the city. Because of this, prices vary according to the environmental badge assigned to each vehicle by the DGT.
