The 0-99 games area changes its opening hours to adapt to the hot weather
17/05/2024 - 12:40 h
The play area offering board games on loan in the Clariana de les Glòries is changing its opening hours with the arrival of summer, avoiding the hottest part of the day. As from 31 May the games area will be opening on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 5 pm to 9 pm.
The games kiosk at the Espai de Joc 0-99 offers over three hundred board games and a playing area of 150 square metres, with tables, chairs and parasols so that local people can play in the open air.
Here users can borrow games ranging from authentic classics to more recent options, games from diverse cultures, cooperative games, XXL games, for adults and children, construction games, jigsaws and skills games. The area is inspired by the open-air play library in Paris.
Besides games, a team of people are responsible for running the area, providing users with guidance and help or explaining the games, as well as creating environments for all ages, plus other activities and events such as themed days.
New summer timetable
The arrival of the warm weather will see the games area change its opening hours to Friday, Saturday and Sundays, from 5 pm to 9 pm, to avoid the hottest times of the day.
