Strengthening the Social and Solidarity Economy

Subsidy Call 2024.
From April 15th to May 13th

Barcelona City Council is opening its sixth specific campaign for supporting and revitalising the SSE, with its 2024 call for subsidy applications under Barcelona City Council’s programme of subsidies for the revitalisation and support of the social and solidarity economy (SSE), and the development of intercooperation projects that build on the #ESSBCN2030 strategy, with a total budget allocation of €935.000

We will support your project with subsidies of up to 80%. We are prioritising the strengthening and revitalisation of the SSE through consolidation, training, digitalisation and intercooperation, with a view to creating, developing and supporting cooperative and cluster SSE ecosystems, and this year also through significant intercooperation projects and actions aimed at the development of City Projects and cross-cutting challenges within the #ESSBCN2030 framework.

This year, a total of €935,000 is being allocated to subsidise projects that foster activities of public or social interest for the city of Barcelona and which aim to revitalise and reinforce SSE companies and organisations and help to achieve the goals of the 2030 Barcelona Social and Solidarity Economy Strategy – Revitalising and supporting an economy for life in the city – as well as the 2024-2027 Municipal Plan for Promoting the Social and Solidarity Economy in the city.

Aa Creation and transformation 
The creation of new cooperatives and the transformation of other pre-existing legal entities into cooperatives.

Ab Consolidation
Business consolidation and scalability of social and solidarity economy initiatives to enhance economic viability, as well as focusing this consolidation on the #ESSBCN2030 agreement and strategy.

Ac Digitalisation
Facilitating the digital transformation of SSE enterprises, as well as focusing this transformation on the #ESSBCN2030 Agreement and Strategy.

Thematic area B. Revitalisation: Inter-cooperation

Ba 2nd and higher level intercooperation 
Projects promoted by Social and Solidarity Economy organisations or by second or higher-level ethical funding, which help to implement Barcelona’s SSE 2030 BCN Strategy, and whose recipients are member organisations.

Bb Creation and/or strengthening of cooperative ecosystems and SSE clusters through inter-cooperation actions,

BASES REGULADORES CONVOCATÒRIA

En els dos documents adjunts (Manual Tramitació 2025 i Informació Enfortim 2025) es pot trobar informació que, ajuda al procés de tramitació i sol·licitud i explica el contingut de la convocatòria ENFORTIM ESS 2025. No obstant, en cap cas, substitueixen allò que diuen les Bases reguladores i la Convocatòria, aprovades i publicades, que son el marc normatiu i de referència  i que sempre cal tenir present.

  • L’import màxim depèn de la modalitat i no pot superar el 80% de la despesa total del projecte a executar.

  • Els projectes han de començar l’any 2025 i poden tenir una durada màxima de 12 mesos.

  • El període i la forma de presentació de les sol·licituds de les subvencions és el previst a la Convocatòria al punt 5. TERMINI I FORMA DE PRESENTACIÓ DE SOL·LICITUDS.

    Al publicar-se la Convocatòria al BOPB en data 14 d’abril de 2025, el període de presentació de sol·licituds  és del 15 d’abril al 14 de maig de 2025. Qualsevol sol·licitud presentada fora d’aquest termini no serà admesa a tràmit.

  • Es limita a un màxim d’una sol·licitud de subvenció per persona física o jurídica. 

    Excepcionalment, les persones jurídiques, poden presentar un segon projecte a la Modalitat Bb o Bc, només en els casos que el primer projecte s’hagi presentat a una de les modalitats de l’àmbit A o a la modalitat Ba.
