La Febrerada: Festival and Meeting of the ESS of Barcelona
Bloc4BCN hosted the Meeting, a set of conversations about the impact of digital transformation on the SSE and how technology can be a tool for the different SSE organizations and companies in Barcelona.
La Trobada va comptar amb la participació de Gerard Genís, coordinador de M4Social a la Taula d’Entitats del Tercer Sector Social de Catalunya, Mar Galtés, Directora de Desenvolupament corporatiu de TechBCN, i Jaume Oller, Conseller de La Confederació de Cooperatives de Catalunya. A més, es van compartir els casos pràctics Suara, FACTO, Arç Cooperativa, Fil a l’Agulla i Formació i Treball.
The Meeting was attended by Gerard Genís, coordinator of M4Social at the Taula d’Entitats del Tercer Sector Social de Cataluny, Mar Galtés, Director of Corporate Development of TechBCN, and Jaume Oller, Councilor of the Confederació de Cooperatives de Catalunya. In addition, the practical cases of Suara, FACTO, Arç Cooperativa, Fil a l’Agulla and Formació i Treball.
Likewise, some ESS technology companies explained how they work for digital transformation from the values of the ESS, with the participation of SinèrgiaTIC, Kedu Cooperativa, and SOM IT Cooperatiu/Som Connexió.

In the afternoon, La Febrerada moved to the Paral•lel 62 room where it was transformed into a festive celebration of the ESS. Thus, in the space of the Party, the podcast “Contra la utopia de la multinacional” was developed live, hosted by Anna Pacheco and which you can listen to in its entirety through Spotify and Youtube.
The live program gave voice to some examples of projects in the city, from different sectoral areas (housing, distribution, catering, culture and communication), highlighting challenges and successes of their daily practice in making economy and society. The discussion was attended by people from the Ruderal, Mescladís, Mensakas, La Carbonera and Proyecto Una.
The La Febrerada Festival continued, with the room full, who danced to the rhythm of Guineu, Tribade, Mercabanda and DJ Trapella.
