#SomESS In Barcelona we decide and do ESS
In Barcelona, the Social and Solidarity Economy (ESS) already exists! It is so plural and diverse that it allows people, organizations and companies to live with the ESS and, increasingly, to live by doing the ESS! Because yes: the ESS is already available in neighborhoods and districts, with products, services and activities that can be used to live and that demonstrate that the economy is already being created for life in the city.

#SomESS: Working Group 7, the ESS's own and shared story
This space is the channel to make visible that we are already #SomESS. We are thus following the Strategy for the Social and Solidarity Economy in Barcelona 2030. Reactivation and strengthening of an economy for life in the city, which we are implementing through a city project and a working group.
Thus, the Working Group 7 -SomESS: Own and shared story of the ESS (GdT7) is a working space already underway, which includes the people responsible for communication of the entities that are the driving force of the Strategy:
La Febrerada: 1st Barcelona ESS Party and Meeting
On February 10, Febrerada took place, the first festive and reflective meeting of the social and solidarity economy (SSE) in Barcelona. The objective was to create a meeting space for different initiatives to share challenges and advance the consolidation of the SSE in a coordinated manner, while also making visible that this ecosystem is already a reality in the city.
The day was divided into two parts: a morning space for reflection and inspiration and a festive evening with shows and concerts.
