Journey Moving towards a healthier, more equal and efficient working time organization

In the course of the Conference, which will be held on March 18, 2019 in the Modernist Campus of San Pau, will be the delivery of awards of the 7th edition of the Barcelona Prize to the Innovative Company in Conciliation and Time.

La Jornada, entitled Moving towards a healthier, more equal and efficient working time organization, aims to raise awareness and value innovation in the field of work time organization that takes place in companies in the city.

The event, organized by Barcelona City Council, Barcelona Activa and the NUST Business Network, is part of the Barcelona Time Pact, a city agreement for a healthier, more equal and efficient time organization, promoted by the City Council of Barcelona in 2018 together with social and economic organizations of the city.

After an institutional welcome focused on time policies at the municipal level, the prestigious Doctor in Political Science María Ángeles Durán will give the main conference on Innovation in the uses of time. The researcher and professor, who has published more than two hundred works on unpaid work, uses of time, health, women, inequality and urbanism, has recently been awarded the National Prize of Sociology and Political Science 2018 of the CIS for her professional career. in the first woman who receives this recognition.

Next, the Dialogue on the impact of time management measures on companies will take place, with the participation of leading companies and organizations of the city that will present their experience in the implementation of innovative measures of conciliation, co-responsibility and time in the framework of the organization.

Finally, the awarding of the prizes will be made to the winning companies of the seventh edition of the Barcelona Prize for the Innovative Company in Conciliation and Time, in which 25 candidates were presented.
