The aim of this competition is to promote artistic creation and encourage the participation of professional and emerging artists, in order to achieve wide-ranging local participation and promote the neighbourhood’s annual festival.

Participation is open to both professionals and emerging artists over the age of 18.

Entries should be submitted during the relevant period via email to participaciocvella@bcn.cat. The subject line of the mail must indicate the neighbourhood for which the competition entry is being submitted. 

Participants may submit a maximum of three posters.

Submission period: Entries may be submitted from 6 to 20 April 2025.

The verdict of the competition will be made public in May 2025 on the Ciutat Vella district website and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB).

The Festa Major del Casc Antic 2025 is being held from 19 to 30 June.
