Barcelona City Council is accepting nominations for the Barcelona Retail Awards, designed to recognise and promote initiatives that contribute to the growth of an innovative local retail model and those that help add vitality and improve  business initiative in the city’s municipal markets. 

To this end, the 26^th edition of the Barcelona Retail Awards seeks to recognise initiatives, contributions, business establishments and municipal market traders’ associations that have positively impacted the retail sector. The award has six categories: 

1. Relleu + award: successful change of hands and promotion of generational renewal. 

2. Shopping excellence award: innovation and multi-channel options to improve service. 

3. Award for brands or commercial groups that bring vitality to the city.

4. Barcelona DNA award.

5. Albert González award for contribution to the promotion, innovation and recognition of city retail.

6. Jordu Maymó Barcelona markets award, in two sub-categories: a. award for the best individual initiative b. award for the best collective initiative.

Each participant must submit their nomination through the form available on the Comerce website.
