This 2025, the Barceloneta Festa Major Committee and the district of Ciutat Vella are launching the first-ever competition to design the official poster for the neighbourhood’s festa major, or main annual festival. 

The aim of this competition is to promote artistic creation and encourage the participation of professional and emerging artists, in order to achieve wide-ranging local participation and promote the neighbourhood’s annual festival.

Both professionals and emerging artists over the age of 18 are eligible to participate.

Only online submissions emailed to participaciocvella@bcn.cat will be considered. The email’s subject line must be “CONCURS DE CARTELLS DE LA FESTA MAJOR DE LA BARCELONETA”.

Participants may submit a maximum of three posters.

The winner will be announced in September 2025 on the Ciutat Vella district website and in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB).
