Barcelona City Council’s programme of grants and subsidies for the socio-economic promotion of the territory “Impulsem el que fas” aims to provide the city’s neighbourhoods or districts with the necessary resources by promoting projects with a social aim or return that improve people’s quality of life and reduce social and economic inequalities.

This call includes the following categories:

• Category 1: Revitalisation of vacant ground floor premises
• Category 2: Socio-economic innovation and the social and solidarity economy in strategic sectors and with a focus on the territory
• Category 3: Promotion of quality occupancy in the territory
• Category 4: Responsible and sustainable tourism in the territory
• Category 5: Barcelona World Sustainable Food Capital
• Category 6: Urban last-mile goods distribution centres
• Category 7: Creative industries in the region

The application period is from 6 April to 5 May 2021 (inclusive).

In view of the increase in the number of projects submitted and their quality, and in order to be able to subsidize some of the applications that could be rejected due to lack of budget, by agreement of the Government Commission of 1 July 2021 the budget allocation has been increased by 225,000 euros, leaving the overall final budget of the call set at 3,425.00 euros
