The grants available as part of the 2025 edition of “Barcelona Crea Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació” are meant to provide support for pre-production processes that accompany the creation of artistic projects (conceptualisation, incubation, research, experimentation, documentation and rehearsal), for projects produced through an artistic residency, in the categories: 

• A1. Creation in performing arts– Theatre
• A2. Creation in performing arts– Dance
• B. Creation in visual arts
• C. Musical creation

In the 2025 edition of the “Barcelona Crea Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació ” grants, four grants are being offered, each worth 6,000 euros.

Regarding the submission of candidacies, for legal persons and those obliged under article 14 of Act 39/2015, of 1 October, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations, applications and other procedures associated to the process for the awarding of subsidies and their justification must be made online using the electronic headquarters of Barcelona City Council:

Online submissions are also preferable for natural persons and other parties. In the exceptional case of submissions made in person, notwithstanding Article 16 of Act 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Authorities, these documents may be presented at any of the General Registry offices in the districts, any municipal manager’s office or Citizen Help and Information Office (OAC).

Applicants must be temporary artistic residents in 2025, accepted via the Fabra i Coats call: Creation Factory.

Applicants may be either natural or legal persons.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old. The calendar year in which the call for applications is published will be used as the reference year.

The application submission period is 15 working days, starting the day after the call announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona.
