Applications for putting up stalls for Sant Jordi 2019

With a view to Sant Jordi / St George's Day 2019 (23 April), we hereby inform all parties concerned that period for submitting applications for stalls selling roses or books will be open from the day following the publication of this notice and 1 March both days included.

Applications may be submitted:

  1. online at ajuntament.barcelona.cat/tramites [es]
  2. or in person, at the register of any Citizen Help and Information Office. A prior appointment is required:

 

IMPORTANT:

  1. Applications presented before 27 January or after 1 March 2019 will not be processed.
  2. In accordance with Article 46(5)(b) of the By-law on Use of Public Roads and Spaces in Barcelona, you are reminded that in order to process and obtain permits for occupying public streets, holders of such permits must be free from any local tax arrears.
  3. Permits will not be processed in the name of minors within the age range for compulsory education.
  4. Only one application will be accepted per permit holder.
  5. Applications must be duly completed with all the required personal details (name and surname, national ID/tax identification code, residence, contact telephone number and email address) and submitted with the following documents:
    • Photocopy of the stall holder's national identity document (DNI)/corporate or personal tax code (CIF)/foreign-national identification number (NIE)
    • Photocopy of the representative's national ID/foreign-national identification number and expressly authorised representation signed by the holder and the representative, where applicable.
    • You are advised to bring a sketch of the location. To do that you can access the Barcelona Mapping Information Point website, print out the map and mark the location you are requesting for the stall.
  6. There is no guarantee that your permit will be for the specific site applied for. There are also restrictions on authorising new sales points in the areas listed below, to avoid overcrowding and provide a more agreeable use of the areas:
