Barcelona is playing host to a new edition of Magic Line this coming 30 May, one of the most solidarity events held in the city during the year. This is a solidarity mobilisation organised by Obra Social de Sant Joan de Déu for people who find themselves in vulnerable situations. Given the health situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s edition will be adapted to the protocols and established measures.
This year’s Magic Line, which has already opened for registrations, will be a very special edition, with the walk heading everywhere. And that’s because in this edition it will be you who chooses the route you will be following with your bubble group.
A safe event
Bearing the slogan “Més que mai” [More than ever], the walk will be aimed at household groups. So, unlike previous editions, registrations will be exclusively reserved for Bubble Teams), ranging from 2 to 6 people.
A route without borders
The main new feature in this year’s walk is that it will have no set route and that everyone who takes part in it can decide on whichever course they wish to follow. That way the walk will be adapted to the current situation and help to send out everywhere the solidarity it is famous for. Likewise, on 30 May, the day of the walk, participants will be discovering a variety of surprises set up everywhere and finding clues and information, through an app, ending the day with a online final party.
A truly solidarity event
As in previous years, the walk will have a solidarity side to it. This edition’s Magic Line proceeds will go towards improving the lives of people affected by the pandemic’s financial and social consequences, especially for those who had already been living in a vulnerable situation
Don’t miss this opportunity, sign up for and take part in the walk, you’ll be collaborating through a good cause!
