Nau Ivanow Call – Barcelona Crea Grants – Creative Factories 2025
It opens three lines of support for research, mediation, and artistic creation projects related to the performing arts.
The Barcelona Crea Grants – Creative Factories are an initiative by the Creative Factories Network, with the support of the Barcelona Institute of Culture (ICUB), aimed at supporting research practices within the artistic sector.
These grants seek to contribute to the city's cultural and scientific momentum by offering resources to develop processes of artistic research and innovation.
This year, Nau Ivanow will award two grants of €6,000 gross each, open to professionals working in the performing arts, in the following categories:
- Research: This call is exclusively addressed to individuals who identify with experiences of gender, class, ethno-racial, and/or religious dissidence, as well as members of Crip and/or LGTBIQ+ communities. Full details are available in the official guidelines.
- Mediation: Projects should have a strong research dimension focused on mediation practices and be directly connected to the performing arts sector. See the call for more information.
In addition, a third grant will be awarded exclusively to companies currently participating in Nau Ivanow’s four-year residency and support programme, in the categories of thought and archive or research and new creation.
The application deadline is Thursday, June 12 at 2:00 PM.
