Athenaeum Theatres Artistic Residency Call

The Catalan federation of athenaeums (Federació d’Ateneus de Catalunya; FAC) through the Catalan athenaeum theatre network (Xarxa de Teatres d’Ateneus de Catalunya; XTAC) launches a call for artistic residencies in their buildings, aimed exclusively at professional artists. Companies can apply until April 19th, 2020.

Call information

These residencies will allow companies to have a rehearsal space at one of the XTAC buildings for 3-4 months. In addition, selected companies will be able to premiere their shows and appear in the athenaeum program once the rehearsal period is finished. For this reason the submitted projects must not have been premiered before.

 

The call includes residencies for theatre, music and dance performances. Companies can submit more than one application on the following link.

 

Athenaeum Theatre Resources

The XTAC theater network has 27 cultural entities and a total of 30 theaters in 23 towns and cities. The network provides training for programmers, benefits and discounts on performance programming, a ticket selling platform and a catalogue of information on different shows.
