The Foundation reopens its doors with guided tours for the 48h Open House

On October 22 and 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Foundation reopens its doors with free guided tours of the garden and the main house for the general public.

What can be seen?

The house is currently in the process of being prepared for a work intervention that will take place next winter. The furniture, textiles and decorative elements are covered and the porticos closed. We hope to be able to open the house to the public for visits and small-scale activities from next summer.

Inside you can visit the lobby and the gallery on the first floor, and you can see, from the entrance to the respective rooms, the music room, the dining room and the personal rooms of Mr. Muñoz (bathroom, bedroom, dressing room and office). The porticos cannot be opened because they are in the process of being repaired and there is also no light, so the rooms have little visibility and we will temporarily illuminate them for the visit.

When and how can you visit?
October 22 and 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (The house has no light, if it becomes dangerous to walk inside after 5pm, the inside of the palace will be closed and the guided tour will be limited to the outside spaces).

Access to the estate will be closed. The queue will form from the access of Carrer de Muntaner, 282, towards the outside. Three Open House volunteers will be organizing the queue and informing visitors. The queue will be closed from the moment the volunteers consider that the visitors will not be in time to access the estate.

Visitors will enter in groups of 10 people, accompanied by a guide (Open House volunteer) who will give them a guided tour of around 30 minutes around the outside of the estate, and inside the palace.
