Taxpayer assistance channels
There are a number of channels used to communicate with, contact and assist taxpayers:
Municipal tax office - Institut Municipal d'Hisenda

The services offered by Barcelona City Council to individuals are as follows:
- Basic information on municipal taxes, public fees and prices.
- Submission and registration of all types of documents related to taxes, public prices and fines managed by Barcelona City Council.

Presentation of writings or documents
Documents for Barcelona City Council can be presented at any Barcelona City Council register (situated in the Citizen Help and Information offices), pl. Sant Miquel, 3-5 (next to Plaça de Sant Jaume) or at the Barcelona Municipal Tax Office, Av. Litoral, 30, at offices of the regional or national public authorities. They can also be presented at any Post Office branch, Spanish consular offices or diplomatic offices abroad.

Barcelona City Council's procedures and services stalls provide you with a new Citizen Help and Information channel. An innovative digital self-service terminal to bring flexibility to the management of the most widely used municipal procedures and access to information on the city.
