Tourist establishments: municipal surcharge on the Stays in Tourist Establishments Tax
Barcelona City Council has approved a by-law that regulates the municipal surcharge for the Stays in Tourist Establishments Tax.
This surcharge came into force on 1 June 2021 and is applied cumulatively and progressively to the tax rates approved by the Government of Catalonia (regardless of the category of the establishment):
