The City Council is promoting a collaboration agreement between the city’s human rights bodies to strengthen democratic participation through Decidim.

Last Thursday 21 November, in the City Hall of the City Council was held the event with the presence of the five signatories SOS Racisme, the association Novact, the Institute of Human Rights of Catalonia, the Observatory of Human Rights (DESC) and Irídia, Center for the Defense of Human Rights and Marc Serra, Councillor for Citizen’s Rights, Participation and Social Justice at Barcelona City Council. It is expected that more entities will join this agreement, which has an initial duration of two years.

The agreement joins the one signed last April with social and solidarity economy entities and with Localret, which allowed sharing the Decidim platform with other cities in the metropolitan area.
