Catalonia. Dance and music
Plunging into contemporary themes, breaking the boundaries between disciplines... that’s how Ambae Company works. This show is a celebration of female expression. Three women artists use dance, music and the captivating power of the female voice as weapons to explore the constant struggle to ensure that women’s voices are heard.
Ambae Company is a joint artistic project founded in 2019 by the Belgian dancer and choreographer Arina Lannoo and the Catalan musician and composer Tito Ripoll. Joined by their passion for exploring human and social issues, they have created a unique stage language interlinking dance, live music and set design. In addition to creating shows, they have also designed a range of dance and music workshops that follow the same lines as their research. La veu de les (d)ones premièred in April 2024 at the Teatre Auditori Llinars del Vallès and since then has been shown in Catalonia, Spain and Germany.
