Belgium. Circus. Barcelona premiere

Music, dance, acrobatics... these are the main ingredients of One Shot, a show called that because the pirouettes and somersaults that these artists do are the kind that you can only try once... The arts of the ring are practised in this modern circus with an extra touch of freedom. Live music, dance and acrobatics mix with axe-throwing and Chinese poles, among other circus techniques. Maxime Dautremont and Foucauld Falguerolles met in Brussels at the Espace Catastrophe in 2003, where they worked on their own circus techniques. Acrobatics and juggling for Maxime, and Chinese poles for Foucauld. They kept going for many years, rehearsing and training nearby to create independent projects. And finally in 2016, as Foucauld was practising the Chinese poles and Maxime was playing the electric guitar and practising axe-throwing, magic was made and Cie. One Shot was founded. Humour, physical theatre, music and a collection of unexpected objects.
