Contemporary urban dance
Featuring six dancers on stage, Odeon is set to music by the Brazilian composer Ernesto Nazareth, famous for combining early 20th-century romantic music with samba and other popular Afro-Brazilian styles.
The brothers Ephrat and Ehud Asherie, in the roles of choreographer and musical director respectively, successfully mix and reconnect various street and club styles while exploring their roots in the rhythms and movements of West Africa.
This New York company blurs the lines of time, tempo and genre to create a unique world of dance and music through the use of breaking, hip-hop, house and vogue.
