The Barcelona Symphony and Catalan National Orchestra ( OBC ) will again be involved in the festivities for La Mercè, conducted by Edmon Colomer.
This year they will be performing Beethoven’s Fifth, a work regarded as a personal fight against destiny. The orchestra will also be performing children’s pieces, sardanas and more traditional and popular music.
