Installation

Col·lectiu Desasosiego will be performing Com qui sent ploure (el que queda de Barrals) [Turning a Deaf Ear (What's Left of Barrals)], a dramatised review of different ways of appreciating the value of water and our relationship with it, at this year's La Mercè festival.

The story is set a very long time ago in Barrals, a village of jolly and honest people that is as idyllic as it is fictitious. It is blessed with heavy and plentiful rainfall until a drought changes everything.

The piece, which straddles the visual and performing arts genres, shows different ways of dealing with something as precious as water through imagination and ingenuity. Join the protagonists in their quest for new ways to cope with the drought.
