The MUHBA Bon Pastor space explains the history of housing in Barcelona during the 20th century through a block of low-cost homes from this working-class neighbourhood transformed into a museum display - one of the four housing estates built in the city in 1929. This restoration of four ‘Cases Barates’ reflects the history of the Bon Pastor area between 1929 and 2010. The exhibition “Allotjar les majories. Barcelona 1860 - 2010”, reveals construction policies and patterns of access to housing for the urban working classes throughout the 20th century in Barcelona.
