The right to housing is a right recognized by the Universal Declaration of the Human Rights, as well as in several international instruments about the human rights. The right to housing is also included in the Spanish Constitution and in the Statute of Catalonia. The number of evictions has increased and during the last years we have witnessed an increasing difficulty to guarantee the access to housing whether is for purchase or rent.
But we are also witnessing the birth and consolidation of alternatives to rent and purchase. Why not prove it?
