Industry

This heterogeneous sample of products, grouped under the heading of “industry”, show us some used in everyday life, such as lighting, in the form of light bulbs, home sewing machines, popularised from the mid 19th century onwards and which lightened the load of housewives, along with  other small household electrical appliances, and even the press. There are also items from other sectors, including engineering and motors,  vehicles and transport, lubricants and tyres, hunting firearms, the chemical industry for paints, varnishes and dyes, agricultural fertilisers, which all  provide us with images that are considered to be iconic examples of 20th century advertising.
