The author presents the installation that occupies since last February the Foyer of the Pau Casals Concert Hall, in L'Auditori: a thousand of cowbells in suspension that have been used for decades in the grazing of herds throughout Catalonia. Esquellòrium invites to listening and reflection, and offers an immersive sound experience. Its dual intention is to generate a personal experience and, at the same time, to question our position in space, time and decision-making. It is an appeal to our relationship with rurality and an invitation to conscious and responsible change, to connect with our origins.
The visit will include a brief sound activation by the artist and the public will also be invited to interact with the installation.
