“The sounds of the accordion are in no way contradictory to the writing of Johann Sebastian Bach: they only give it a timeless contour, accentuating its serene aspect, thanks to the continuous flow of air that feeds and drives the phrasing. From the first theme, Fanny Vicens’ interpretation conquers us. We like the movement with which she gives life to the score: each motif, each figure, each ornament lives fully and finds its place in a magnificent vision of the polyphonic line.
