Concerts and family activities at the Museu de la Música
The 2017-2018 season at the Museu de la Música is full of activities designed for the little ones in the family. This year’s educational programme consolidates the offering of school activities and family programming on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons. The Museum continues to arrange workshops around the Balinese instrumental ensemble, the gamelan, for companies, Apropa Cultura groups and school and family groups without prior musical knowledge.
The programme also focuses on three new products designed for family audiences. On the one hand, the workshops Toquem el janggu and Construïm un janggu are linked to the new temporary exhibition Eolssigu! The sounds of Korea and offer us an introduction to the sounds of a fascinating millennial culture. The second novelty is the activity Les descobertes de l’Orsina: La meravellosa història del Clave Zell, designed by the Educational Service at L'Auditori in collaboration with Tantàgora. This set of tracks, narrated and accompanied by live music, will reveal to children the mysteries of a very special instrument: the Zell harpsichord. The musical tale Des d’aquell dia les trompes són cargolades, with music by Tchaikovsky, Rossini and Mozart, explains why trumpets are so special.
All the activities are aimed at children aged 6 years and over, except for the shows Bufant sons (for children aged 3 and over) and Quotidiàfons bufats (for children aged 4 and over). The activities cost €5 each and tickets can be purchased in advance on the website and at the Museu de la Música reception.
The family activities of the Museu de la Música form part of the programme of concerts and family activities at L'Auditori for the 2017-2018 season.
