Information requests
The OMIC, which belongs to Barcelona City Council, can only act in consumer-related matters, and only if the consumer is based in this municipality. You can use this form to request information on any consumer-related matters. We will reply as soon as we can.
The OMIC only handles consumer issues. It does not carry out procedures for registering with the municipal register of residents or any procedures relating to taxes, fines, licences, grants, scholarships, subsidies, medical matters, car inspections and social services.
If you need to request proof of residence, you can do so using the Virtual Office. For any other municipal procedures, you can contact one of the Citizen Help and Information Offices (OAC), call the 010 helpline or check the Barcelona City Council website.
