The Barcelona City Council maintains international presence both globally –through worldwide city networks and multilateral organisations– and regionally, where it engages with diverse entities, associations and city networks. The council also fosters relationships with cities across the world, often formalising these connections through twinning city partnerships or collaboration agreements.
