Registration period now open for the Cursa DiR - Guàrdia Urbana
The run will have two refreshment points, medical support, a cloakroom service and toilets at the start and finish lines.
This year brings the eighth edition of the Cursa Diagonal DiR – Guàrdia Urbana, an officially recognised 10 km run covering the length of Av. Diagonal and with its start line at the mountain end and its finish line at the sea.
The event is open to everybody and is being held in two turns on Sunday 26 September, the first group setting off at 8 am and the second at 8.30 am. The number of registrations will be limited to 6,000 places, with the registration period to close at 10 am on Tuesday 21 September (or when the maximum number of places have been filled).
Throughout this week and up until Monday 19 July there’s a special opening price of 5 euros for club members and 7 euros for non-members.
Finally, as ever, the day before the event brings the Cursa DiR Kids Diagonal, a festive sports event for all the family with runs in different categories for children. The circuits are organised around the Parc Piscines i Esports (next to Diagonal DiR). Registration is also required to take part.
