Walks and surveys as the first participatory actions for the Sant Gervasi - La Bonanova superblock

Barcelona Superblock. The first participatory actions are under way to decide what the Sant Gervasi - La Bonanova superblock should be like.

Barcelona City Council has started a new participatory process to establish priority action for the Sant Gervasi - La Bonanova superblock: traffic calming in C/ Sant Gervasi de Cassoles and Pl Frederic Soler, which will provide new spaces for city residents to spend time in, along with more green areas and a reduction in private traffic.

Various participatory actions are planned by organisations and local people in the neighbourhood, such as a public survey, launched in early May and open until 5 June on Decidim Barcelona, which has already received a hundred replies. You can also respond in person at the Mercat de Sant Gervasi until Saturday, 4 June.

Citizen walks

As part of the participatory process, two exploratory walks are being organised in the morning and in the afternoon to analyse spaces and surroundings and review the perception of safety and the use of public space (lighting, urban furniture, accessibility, trees, urban greenery etc.). The walks are being held on the following days:

  • 8 June at 6 pm. Meeting point: Plaça de la Bonanova.
  • 9 June at 10.30 am. Meeting point: Plaça de la Bonanova.
