VinclesBCN Service
VinclesBCN is a service that combats loneliness by strengthening the social ties of elderly people who feel lonely and improving their well-being with the aid of new technology.
With VinclesBCN, users can manage their social relationships using a simple tablet or smartphone application as a communication tool. The app makes it possible for users to communicate with their families and friends, as well as with other people in VinclesBCN groups, through text message, photograph or video format. The service enables the participation of people with hearing impairments.
There are currently 2,500 service users, 80% of whom are women, with an average age of 82.

- Reduction of unwanted loneliness and/or strengthening of social support networks.
