Association Copersona
Copersona is a project born in 2016, from civil society, to promote a social effort that helps overcome the current lack of conciliation, and move towards an environment of social co-responsibility, on which people, regardless of their sex or gender, have equal opportunities, rights and duties, to develop freely.
Focusing on the vital stage from pregnancy/fostering/adoption until the children reach 3 years old, Copersona wants to move from the “we must promote women and their conciliation needs”, to a “we must promote synchrony between people, their families and the society” paradigm. To achieve this, a working group has been created with the participation of associations, foundations, companies and institutions from different fields such as education, health, work or public administration, as well as individuals, all participating in a voluntary manner.
This way Copersona works to promote social co-responsibility as a solidarity and cohesion tool that implies to stop reproducing gender roles and stereotypes. The ultimate goal is to free people from those and work together on the transformation of current social structures, as well as collective thinking, so that citizens can align their life times (personal, family, social and work time).
