The first Summer School on time policies in Barcelona
Barcelona City Council is pleased to present the European Summer School on Time Policies, a key initiative within the Time4All project designed to train policymakers and public servants, providing them with the necessary tools to actively influence the configuration of time policies within their organizations.
Time management is essential to the well-being, productivity and sustainability of our communities. In this context, this unique event offers a platform for knowledge exchange, capacity building and networking around the implementation of effective time policies.

Methodology
1. Expert Participation: The summer school will feature a diverse range of speakers, including experts from fields such as gender studies, urban studies, sustainability, policymakers, chronobiology, etc. These experts will share their insights, research findings, and best practices to enrich participants' understanding of time policies.
2. Learning-by-Doing Approach: Through case-based workshops, participants will have the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life scenarios. Guided by experienced policymakers and scholars, these sessions will provide practical tools and strategies for developing, implementing, and evaluating time policies within local contexts.
3. Networking Spaces: In addition to formal sessions, the summer school will provide ample opportunities for participants to connect and engage with each other. Informal gatherings and cultural events will create a conducive environment for building relationships, sharing experiences, and fostering collaboration.
Expected Outcomes
1. Enhanced understanding of the importance of time policies in addressing societal challenges and promoting well-being.
2. Increased capacity among participants to design, implement, and evaluate time policies that are responsive to local needs and priorities.
3. Strengthened networks and partnerships among participants, fostering ongoing collaboration and knowledge-sharing beyond the summer school.
