» The Time Academy is an online training programme aimed at local and regional government professionals, as well as individuals and groups involved in the design and development of public policies.

» Barcelona City Council will participate on 1 June to present its experience in the development and implementation of evaluation tools for time management policies.

The sessions will take place on 30 June and 1, 2, and 3 July, from 10.00 to 11.30 a.m., and will offer a combination of theory and practice by experts with recognised track records and benchmark experiences from across Europe.

The training includes four separate sessions, delivered in English, which will address key aspects of mainstreaming time in institutional governance.

  • Session 1. How to identify existing time policies in my local government.
  • Session 2. Evaluating time policies through data-driven evaluation systems.
  • Session 3. Designing cross-departmental time policies.
  • Session 4. Time Policies for Climate Action.

As a European benchmark in time policies, Barcelona will participate on Tuesday, 1st of July, to share its experience in the development of evaluation tools. In this session, Blai Martí, a technician from the Directorate of Feminism and LGTBI Services, will present the tool created to analyse the implementation and impact of time policies in the city.

The Time Academy aims to give continuity to the Time Summer School 2024, the first European training programme in this field, co-organised by Barcelona City Council and the Time Use Initiative

This year, the Time Academy is part of the Time4All 2.0 project, which promotes the Right to Time on a European scale. The activity is promoted by the Network of Local and Regional Governments for Time Policies, of which Barcelona is a driving member.
