Shopping hubs

Barcelona offers a wide range of shopping options based on a combination of traditional family commerce, big international brands and innovative commerce. Shop by shop, it helps to create a model for a unique city, a Mediterranean city, a commerce city.

There are currently more than 40 shopping hubs where you can stroll, shop, be entertained and enjoy quality time with the family. These hubs are distributed throughout the city. You haven’t visited them yet?

Over 40 shopping hubs

Some of the shopping hubs are very different from one another, but they all have a common denominator: they combine modern establishments with traditional ones so you can enjoy Mediterranean-style family shopping. From an antique market dating back to the 15th century to a long street that articulates one of the city's traditional neighbourhoods, passing through an area that meets all the needs of the LGTBI community and an avenue that links two modernist buildings. They all offer a unique shopping and culinary experience.

You can discover all the city's commercial hubs on the website of the Barcelona Oberta organisation and on the website of the Barcelona Comerç Foundation. These associations facilitate relationships among retailers, consumers and public administrations that enable continual improvement.
