Barcelona d'Infraestructures Municipals, SA (BIMSA) is a corporation with full municipal capital linked to the area of ​​Ecology, Urban Planning and Mobility. It runs infrastructure works and actions, urban development, unique installations and buildings contributing to the process of transformation and regeneration of the city for the benefit of the quality of public space and people's life. From the agreement of the council committee on February 29, 2012, BIMSA assumes the merger of companies ProEixample, Agència de Promoció del Carmel i Entorns, 22@ BCN and Pro Nou Barris.

BIMSA carried out various actions of transformation and renovation of public spaces, new buildings and infrastructure. The works cover the entire city and include comprehensive improvements in streets and squares, construction of new facilities, redevelopment, housing development, service infrastructures (network of pneumatic waste collection, sewer, etc.), among others.
