Protocols with utility companies

Protocols are agreed on byresilience working groups which include the Civil Protection Division, Guàrdia Urbana, other control centres and municipal offices and service-providing companies. Together,they decide on action and communication protocols to improve how failures are managed, including from a critical perspective.

The protocols, which set warning thresholds agreed with each company, facilitate communication between the various operational agencies through the Operations Centre and also help to improve information management, warning any city bodies that need to be aware of the situation.

Besides resulting in the necessary re-establishment of the service and resolution of the failure, this can also prevent it from spreading and generating more risk to the city.
