Call for the 2030 Agenda Awards

The call for entries for the second edition of the 2030 Agenda Awards has been extended until 7 June. The awards were conceived to recognise innovative initiatives with a positive impact in achieving the sustainable development goals in the Barcelona metropolitan area, whether direction actions, dissemination, participation or educational initiatives. The idea is also to help make Barcelona an international leader in the application of the 2030 Agenda and promote initiatives to inspire other cities in the world.

The call for the Barcelona 2030 Agenda Awards consists of nine awards grouped into three categories:

  • Action category, with awards for the best initiative for achieving the sustainable development goals: best initiative by a company, non-profit organisation, administration or public body.
  • Involvement category, with awards for the best initiatives in dissemination, awareness and social participation relating to the 2030 Agenda and the SDGS: best product disseminating knowledge about the 2030 Agenda and the SDGS, best awareness campaign on the SDGS, best initiative fostering participation relating to the SDGS.
  • Education category, with awards for the best education initiatives relating to the 2030 Agenda and the SDGS: best initiative by a primary school, secondary school (ESO, baccalaureate and CFGM), and higher education centre (CFGS and university).

Actions and projects implemented in the two years prior to this call can be presented, as well as others still in progress which have had some sort of impact.

The call is open to any natural or legal person officially residing in or with their base or a delegation in the Barcelona metropolitan area, including all municipalities in the following counties: Barcelonès, Alt Penedès, Baix Llobregat, Garraf, Maresme, Vallès Occidental and Vallès Oriental.
