Once again, Barcelona Municipal Immigration Council (CMIB) and the associations of which it is formed are organising a new edition of the BCN Diverse City Gathering, a participatory and protest festival intended for all city residents, with the aim of showing, sharing and enjoying our city’s diversity.
This year the gathering’s central issue is Political, institutional and community participation of migrants, and its goal is to highlight and incentivise the contributions made by migrants to spaces with political and institutional impact, bring visibility to their work in these spaces and highlight the importance of exercising the right to participation, which entails, among other things, the right to vote as an essential condition of full citizenship.
The venue will feature different activities in its various marquees and areas, such as music and theatre performances, talks, exhibitions, workshops and interactive games for children and adults alike.
